SIA Malaysia Base Maintenance needed a corporate identity that reflected their reputation for precision and technical excellence in aviation maintenance. We were brought in to build it from the ground up, developing a cohesive brand system, logo, stationery, event collateral and facility signage, that carries the same discipline into its design as the organisation brings to its engineering work. We began by designing a logo built around a forward facing chevron, an arrow motif in navy and orange that reads as motion and precision, paired with a clean, structured wordmark and the SIAEC Group Company tagline beneath it. This mark became the cornerstone of the identity, with every subsequent brand touchpoint built to extend directly from it. A Consistent Identity Across Everyday Stationery Beyond the logo itself, we extended the identity into the stationery every organisation runs on daily, letterhead and business cards. The letterhead carries the logo alongside a subtle geometric chevron motif echoing the mark itself, keeping official correspondence visually tied to the brand without overwhelming the page. The business cards take the identity further, pairing a navy card carrying the full logo lockup with a white card laying out contact details in a clean, angled layout that mirrors the chevron's diagonal energy. For an organisation whose reputation depends on precision, this kind of consistency across even the smallest everyday touchpoints reinforces credibility every time a card changes hands or a letter goes out. Event-Ready Brand Presence For SIA Malaysia Base Maintenance's key corporate event, we extended the identity into a full booth setup, pull-up banners, a large event backdrop and a branded podium table, all carrying the same navy palette and a fine-line technical illustration in the background referencing the hangar itself.
