For Sembawang Family Services , the Annual Report 2024/2025 was designed as more than a statutory publication. It was an opportunity to present the Centre’s work with warmth, clarity and a strong sense of community. The creative concept draws inspiration from a garden in bloom, using flowers, leaves, insects and soft organic shapes as recurring visual motifs. This approach gives the report a warm, human and hopeful tone, while subtly representing the nurturing role that Sembawang Family Services plays within the community. The cover introduces this visual world through bold floral illustrations, a soft blue backdrop and a family-focused image treatment. Together, these elements create an inviting first impression that feels optimistic, accessible and aligned with the Centre’s role in supporting individuals and families through different seasons of life. Editorial Design & Visual Storytelling Across the report, the editorial layout balances institutional content with a friendly and engaging design language. Key sections such as About Us , Our Purpose , Our Mission , Our Vision and Our Values are presented through soft circular forms, garden-inspired graphics and clear content grouping. For the performance pages, data and statistics are transformed into more digestible visual highlights. Wooden signboard-style panels, illustrated icons and structured infographic layouts help organise key indicators while keeping the pages visually cohesive with the overall theme. This makes the report feel less dense and more reader-friendly, especially for sections that involve figures, service outcomes and comparative performance indicators. Visual Rollout The floral garden system was applied consistently across the publication, from the cover to internal spreads. Large illustrated blooms, leaves, bees, daisies and soft landscape details create a sense of movement throughout the report, helping each section feel connected while still giving individual stories room to breathe.
